Ethics To Our Government
Ethics is very essential to our government. It is a science of morality of human acts. Actions reflect the motive of the doer and ethics studies the human motivation and the rationality of behaviour. It has primary interest or morality whether it is moral, immoral or a moral.
In the light of your knowledge and observation, what is the importance of public ethics to public administration?
What are the legal basis of accountability and public ethics for the government officials and employees? Are the people of the state having that kind of concern about our Government? Government is one of the cultures that we need to climb and
surf that we can be of help to them.
One of my concern is that: The state shall maintain honestly and integrity in the public service and take positive action and effective measures against graft and corruption wherein the OMBUDSMAN was created by law to its watchdog.
In some other points, there are certain issues evolve related to Bureaucracy’s Role in Policy Making. Some of it such as: socio-economic backgrounds of higher civil servants, the political values of the higher political servants.
In this scene, we need to have a deep concern on what our government, thus contributing a great and higher factor of increase in the status of ethics in our government. Even in the education, we will in still into the minds of the students that we must be concern of our government. If we will not move, who will care?
